Australian permanent residents do not need to pay the IVL tax (international visitor and conservation tourism) to travel to New Zealand. When traveling to New Zealand, you must have a permanent resident visa in effect in Australia allowing you to return to Australia from abroad. To change your answer, select "No".
If you choose this option your NZeTA will be valid for transit only. If you plan to leave the airport and enter New Zealand, you must indicate this on your NZeTA request and pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL). To change your answer, select 'Yes'.
You are not eligible for an NZeTA. Apply for a Visitor Visa.
